Vena Energy is a portfolio company of Global Infrastructure Partners, a leading global independent infrastructure fund manager in the energy, transport and water/waste sectors. We take advantage of this scale and experience to deliver low-cost, clean energy for retailers and large energy consumers to support Australia’s continued economic growth and the preservation of our environment.
In Australia, the company is progressing over 2,500MWac of renewable energy projects across the country, including the 95MWac Tailem Bend Solar Project in South Australia, due for completion in 2019.
Headquartered in Brisbane, Vena Energy Australia’s leadership team is made up of seasoned power industry professionals with experience in renewable energy projects from initial site selection through development, construction, operation and maintenance. Together, we have established an outstanding track record for delivering projects on time and under budget.
For each project we aim to assemble “on-the-ground” teams comprising locals and experts who understand the lay of the land and can bring their knowledge and community networks to bear on delivering projects that better serve all stakeholders. Our goal is to ensure all our projects make a positive long-term contribution to the environment and our host communities, while also offering sustainable and superior returns to our investors.
